Pien Studios is an Amsterdam design studio founded in 2020 by Pien Barendregt, who comes from textile design. What began as hand-knitted accessories is now a collaborative practice, made with knitters in Serbia, leather craftspeople in Italy and artisans across the Netherlands. The work is tactile first: Italian mohair, silk and merino, nappa leather, wooden beads. Accessories and homeware treated as objects, not products. No mass production.
