Description
A faithful recreation of the rare front-zip “after-hood” hoodie, inspired by vintage originals where the hood appears almost forcibly attached to the body. The silhouette is intentionally collapsed, with thinned vintage-style ribbing, distorted pockets, a V-gusset and a small hood that cannot actually be worn. The outer fleece is loopwheel-knit with minimal tension, creating a thick, soft and lofty texture rather than a stiff feel. The thermal lining is made from an original uneven-texture waffle fabric, recreated using vintage irregular yarns. Finished with an Asahi zipper and hand-processed by artisans to reproduce vintage fading, tonal irregularities and worn-in damage. Each piece will naturally vary due to the hand-finishing process. Scuffs, small scratches and other inconsistencies are considered part of the design. Some colours may have lower lightfastness and can discolor over time.
